Choreographer, Dancer, Educator, and Ecosomatic Researcher
Based in Los Angeles
I make works at the intersections of ecological consciousness, visceral physicality, and communal presence. My process draws from a modern dance lineage, ecosomatic practice, somatic education, and interdisciplinary research. Using images from nature, such as roots, clouds, water, and sunlight, my choreography explores grief and resilience, looking at loss and renewal. In a time of environmental and political unraveling in the US, my work turns to the body’s natural abilities and its potential to imagine more connected, regenerative futures.
My work asks: How might dance regenerate connection to the earth, to one another, and to the dismantling of limiting futurities for women? How do limits generate creative possibility? Can plant structures, water systems, and solar energy offer new modes of grounding, circulation, and radiance as tools for personal and collective growth? Can the body be an archive and an ecosystem?
